A native of the Midwest, Leopold was the father of modern ecology. In his book A Sand County Almanac Leopold calls for a Land Ethic to communicate the true connection between people and the natural world, with the hope that the readers will begin to treat the land with the love and respect it deserves. This room features a king-size bed, locally handmade quilts, and a bird's eye view of Dancing Rabbit's rolling prairie land.
